the fact of reality is this:
i won my court case because i was right from the beginning and my ccb ex-roommate was just plain wrong. i am thrilled to report that i received word that the arbitrator favored the claimant ( ME!) in my small claims case. the ccb has, since february, refused to return my security deposit. not only that, she refused to return any calls i made trying to retrieve it AND refused to acknowledge a letter my friend/attorney sent her, certified mail, regarding this issue. she felt she had claims to the moneys because i left the room smelling of incense. however.com, since she admitted in court to having given me permission to burn incense, the fact is she cannot withhold my security deposit! and so the ccb owes me $815. now let's see in how timely a fashion she will pay!
